Te Nehenehenui offer all registered members, a range of grants, distributions and special scholarships, to expand the capabilities of our whānau, hapū, marae and community. Explore the range of grants, subsidies, scholarship and health assistance opportunities currently available to tribal members. It provides relief and support for age-related health costs. This year we have made our grant applications available within Kākaho to make it easier for you to apply. The Kaumaatua Grant is offered to tribal members registered with Waikato-Tainui who are aged 60 and over. The categories are guided by Te Whatu Muturangi, the 2050 vision for Maniapoto, underpinned by Ngā Uara. It includes much of the lands of the Tainui waka, and the people of Waikato, Raukawa, Hauraki and Maniapoto iwi. Kaumatua Medical grants can only be approved for Beneficiaries who reside in New Zealand.
